Our Leadership

CHARLIE THOMPSON

CEO

Charlie is the CEO of UTEX Industries and a member of the Board of Directors. Charlie has been a partner at PinHigh Capital Partners a Houston-based family office affiliated investment partnership with a focus on private oil service and exploration and production (“E&P”) investments. From 2017 through early 2022, he served as CEO and a board member of Nuverra Environmental Solutions, a public water handling and transportation company. He also served as chairman of the board of directors of Pioneer Energy Services Corp, an oil and gas drilling company that was sold to Patterson-UTI and on several smaller oil and gas company boards.  Mr. Thompson spent two years at Nomura Securities building the oil and gas investment banking business, and from 2004 to 2014 he was an original partner of Legacy Partners Group, a boutique mergers and acquisitions firm based in New York that was sold to FBR Capital Markets in 2007. Mr. Thompson holds a B.A. in geology from Williams College and attended Columbia Business School.

Jeremie Le Moal

JEREMIE LE MOAL

Chief Financial Officer

Jeremie has over 15 years of progressive financial executive leadership in corporate finance and as a business partner. With full financial expertise and a manufacturing engineering background, Jeremie drove organizations through both organic and external growth in competitive and challenging market environments. Jeremie has served as CFO for Seabed Geosolutions and held various roles at CGG including Marine Financial Manager/Finance Deputy Vice President. 

Jeremie holds a Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Systems Degree from the French Institute for Advanced Mechanics in Clermont-Ferrand, France and an MBA from Brest Business School in France. He also served as Research Assistant for the Institute for Manufacturing at Cambridge University. His process-oriented, engineering approach to leading the finance function strengthens our leadership team as we move forward to greater levels and expand our horizons.

ROY HOWARD

Vice President of Sales

Roy is responsible for global commercial strategy and driving sales growth of existing and new products. He leads the US Outside and Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution Centers.  Having joined UTEX in 2005 as a Technical Sales Manager for Well Service Products, he has been promoted through the company due to his valued knowledge, tenacity and experience. Roy is a Veteran of the United States Army and has earned his Bachelor of Science and MBA from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma.

CHRISTOPHER TRAN

Vice President of Manufacturing

Chris has spent 13 years in manufacturing, holding key leadership roles in operations management and strategic development at Flowserve, TMK Ipsco and Halliburton.  He is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, aligning perfectly with UTEX’s commitment to excellence.

FELICIA SOLOMON

Vice President of Human Resources

Felicia joins UTEX Industries, Inc. as Vice President of Human Resources, bringing over three decades of rich and diverse experience to the table. In this pivotal role, she will spearhead the development and execution of forward-thinking HR strategies, championing the growth and development of employees, and fortifying UTEX Industries’ position as an employer of choice. With a career trajectory marked by excellence, Felicia has held esteemed positions such as VP of Human Resources, Regional HR Director, Global HR Business Partner, and Talent Manager. Her journey in the corporate world began even earlier, as an R&D Chemist at Bayer Corp, where she gained invaluable insights into organizational dynamics and processes. Armed with a master’s degree in human resources development from Webster University, Felicia has honed her expertise across various HR functions, showcasing her versatility and strategic acumen. With Felicia at the helm of our HR endeavors, UTEX Industries, Inc. is poised to ascend to new heights, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and unparalleled employee satisfaction.

ZACH TRITZ

Managing Director – Asia

Zach is responsible for the growth of UTEX Sales and Operations in Asia Pacific. He began his career with Baker Hughes, where he completed their Engineering Development Program, with a focus on hydraulic fracturing and cementing treatments. In 2016, he joined UTEX Technical Sales where he later promoted to International Sales Manager, and soon after his current role as Managing Director for Asia. Zach has a Bachelor’s in Physics from Texas State University, where he also received a baseball scholarship. Zach is a student of leadership and thrives on educating himself on management strategy, and investing in his team. He is a dedicated husband, and father of three children, whom he enjoys experiencing new adventures with.

Louis Tan

LOUIS TAN

Director of Business Development – Asia

Louis is responsible for UTEX Sales in Asia Pacific.  Started his career as a Field Service Engineer with Applied Materials and progressed to Sales Manager role with Greene, Tweed & Co.  He has more than 15 years of Sales and Operations experience in leading and coaching teams to grow new businesses and products. Louis has a BEng degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

BOB JEAVONS

Managing Director -UK

Bob has been in the seal manufacturing industry for 55 years, spending more than 30 years of that time as a director of businesses, including a Director of Engineering of a Weir Group company, whilst specializing in the design of sealing devices and the development of sealing materials. Bob created four seal manufacturing facilities in the North East area of the UK during the period 1975 to 2017 and all four facilities remain in business. From 1995 to-date Bob has led many R&D sealing projects with major oil and gas equipment manufacturers.

Bob holds a Bachelor Honours Degree in Engineering and during 1999 was awarded an MBA from the University of Durham Business School, regarded as one of highest rated Business Schools in Britain. His logical approach to resolving the most severe of oil and gas applications, turning unique designs into a manufacturing reality, further strengthens the already substantial engineering resource within UTEX Industries.
