In hostile and corrosive environments, plastics keep performing long after conventional materials would be destroyed. Thermoplastics provide lower friction and greater chemical compatibility than most metal alloys, in addition to larger temperature range than standard elastomers. Thermoplastic polymers can be engineered to excel under even the most punishing conditions.

Urethane Molding

Utex offers our cast polyurethane as an alternative to rubber, plastic, or metal, depending on the application. This innovative elastomer was developed in the early 1940’s and has been widely accepted as a cost-effective replacement for other materials ever since.
